Alberto, a disenchanted young director, is convinced that cinema has nothing more to offer him. But it is by giving up on his dream that he discovers its deeper meaning. After years spent in Rome hoping to make a film\u2014amid uncertain projects and perpetually elusive producers\u2014 Alberto, now approaching thirty, decides to turn back and return to his hometown.Life as an aspiring artist has proved more lonely than expected, and the Province, with its slow pace and familiar faces, seems to offer him an unexpected refuge. Alberto, giovane regista disilluso, \u00e8 convinto che il cinema non abbia pi\u00f9 nulla da offrirgli. Ma \u00e8 proprio rinunciando al suo sogno che ne scopre il senso pi\u00f9 profondo.
Dopo anni vissuti a Roma nella speranza di fare un film \u2014 tra progetti incerti e produttori perennemente in fuga \u2014 Alberto, ormai vicino ai trent\u2019anni, decide di fare marcia indietro e tornare nella sua citt\u00e0 natale.
La vita da aspirante artista si \u00e8 rivelata pi\u00f9 solitaria del previsto, e la provincia, con i suoi ritmi lenti e volti familiari, sembra offrirgli un rifugio inaspettato. Tra vecchi amici, nuove conoscenze e qualche momento di pace, Alberto ritrova una tranquillit\u00e0 che aveva perduto. Ma basta poco perch\u00e9 riaffiorino i dubbi, i desideri messi da parte e quella domanda che non smette mai di tormentarlo: cosa fare davvero della propria vita?
Il bivio \u00e8 chiaro: restare, ricominciare o trasformare questo frammento di vita in racconto.<\/p>
