SORELLE MAI

SINOPSYS

The young Elena lives with her elderly great-aunts in the family home in Bobbio. Her mother Sara is always absent, she lives in Milan trying to pursue a career as an actress and when she is not working she visits her daughter. Giorgio, Sara’s brother, thinks that she should be more present in her daughter’s life, and in the meantime he too is trying to start a new business as a jeweler. When Sara gets a role as a protagonist she would like to bring her daughter to live with her; so she sells her apartment in Bobbio to get a bigger one in Milan. In the meantime, a professor, a paying guest in the aunts’ house, is undecided about the fate of a student during the exams. Giorgio is in debt, he is helped by his sister Sara who will sell his necklace that once belonged to his mother. The family friend Gianni asks Giorgio to film his “farewell to the world and memories of the past” by disappearing into the waters of the Trebbia in a tailcoat.
